You can adopt at the Humane Society of Broward County. It's at 2070 Griffin Road, just west of I-95. Adoptions open every morning at 10. The adoption fees for rabbits are just $20, or $125 for puppies, $90 for adult dogs and $75 for felines, including spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccinations, tattoo and ID tag, 14-day healthcare plan and more.
If you're 60+ you may qualify to have part of the pet adoption fee waived. Call 954-989-3977 and press 3 for adoptions.
